Fronted by the powerhouse voice of Josh Thomas, backed by the explosive rhythms of Kenny “Turbo” Koonts coupled with the thunderous thump of Joe "Punk" Scibilia on bass, and ignited by the blistering leads & Vocals of Willie “G” and Ross Collins, Power Born Rebellion doesn’t just play rock — they live it. Every show is a battle cry. Every song, a fist in the air. This is Premium Rock n’ Roll — loud enough to wake the dead and real enough to raise the living.

In the beginning, PBR quickly became the official band for WAVE 104.1 T&A Morning Show! Power Born Rebellion puts on a LIVE SHOW you really MUST SEE! In 2012, Power Born Rebellion was ranked #1 out of 290 bands in the region by a panel of music professionals and the Hard Rock Café. On a world voting level, PBR ranked #42 out of over 12,000 bands! Yes, number 42 in THE WORLD! By Spring 2012, Pabst Blue Ribbon found a marketing opportunity too good to pass up with this working class band and is a continued supporter of this group. PBR was voted 2014 Readers’ Choice Award winner by the readers of the Carolina Forest Chronicle!! Readers voted Power Born Rebellion as the Best Local Band!! For 2025, Power Born Rebellion will continue marketing themselves on a national and world level through touring and merchandising.

In September 2012, PBR’s single “Killing Machine” (a tribute to our soldiers) was released worldwide via iTunes, Amazon, Reverb Nation, etc. The CD "Middle Class & White Trash" was released April 2014.

The original line-up consisted of Eric Ness on lead vocals & guitar, James Magilton on lead guitar, Stacy Gilley on Bass & Turbo on the Drums. It is with great pride that we all continue the legacy of Rock started all those years ago!

Power Born Rebellion is a hard rockin’, heart thumpin’, in your face Rock & Roll band. Not considered metal and for sure not pop, their classic sound and stage show keeps people on the edge of their seats. Their musical influences range through the decades. Some have tried to describe their sound as Godsmack & Alice in Chains meets Buck Cherry & Audioslave; but with a different groove. They attract crowds but more importantly, they keep crowds begging for more!

PBR’s fans are not just fans, they are an army with a few things in common. They’re a middle class, white trash, hard drinking, still smokin’, rockin’ rollin’ bunch of Rebellion Hellions!
